Rust western gunman Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who was found guilty in March of manslaughter in the 2021 death of cinematographer Galina Hutchins, has been sentenced to a maximum sentence of 18 months in prison.
According to legal expert Emily D. Baker, a former Los Angeles County deputy district attorney, the sentence handed down by New Mexico Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer should be a “wake-up call” for Alec Baldwin, 66, who will also stand trial in July for manslaughter. In his case, the decision may be based on a precedent already set.
Recall that 26-year-old Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was responsible for the prop guns used for the filming of the western “Rust”.

Bridgertons star Jonathan Bailey is finalising negotiations with Universal and Amblin Entertainment for the lead male role in the upcomingJurassic World 4 film. If signed, he will keep company with Scarlett Johansson, previously confirmed for the female lead role in the new chapter of the famous franchise, which will be directed by Gareth Edwards.
Universal has already announced the film’s premiere date of 2 July 2025, and the pre-production phase will begin as soon as the deal is finalised. It is claimed that the new film will be a standalone story, so it is not expected that any of the cast members from past instalments will appear in the film. David Koepp, who worked on the original “Jurassic Park” and its sequel “Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World,” has prepared the script.

What was once only a rumour is now official: film studio Paramount Pictures is putting the Transformers and Throwback of Cobra crossover into production as a full-length feature film.
During the studio’s presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Paramount Pictures president and CEO Brian Robbins announced that Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, the prolific producer who brought theTransformers and Throwback ofCobra franchises to the big screens, has extended his contract and will work on the new project. His partners will be Steven Spielberg, Michael Bay and Don Murphy.
In February 2024, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura said in an interview that “we’re going to fulfil a long-standing promise”. “We’ve been talking about this since the very beginning of the franchise because fans have often asked, ‘Come on, when are you going to bring in G.I. Joe.’

“TheNight Administrator” is pulling double duty as the BBC and Amazon have officially renewed the spy mini-series starring Tom Hiddlestonfor a second and third season. Performed in the first season of the series one of the leading roles Hugh Laurie will take on the duties of executive producer, and the post of director of the second season received Georgie Banks-Davies (“Newspaper Girls”). Series creator David Farr will take part in the work on the sequels, Stephen Garrett will supervise the production.

The action of the second season will unfold eight years after the events of the first season and the plot will differ from the original novel by John le Carré, released in 1993. Years. Yeah. I like to read. I don’t watch a lot of television. Sure, I might watch something once, but I’m not going to watch something over and over again. In the glory days? No, there was nothing like that.

Did you get over it?
I got over it.

You’ve had so many incredible projects in your career, even if you just watch them on television, from Beauty and the Beast in the ’80s to TheTransplant from Outer Space now and the Very Strange Things series coming up. Now it probably feels like the landscape has changed dramatically.
It has, and I’ve really enjoyed riding this long career wave. I’ve seen a lot and I can certainly point to changes in all areas of film and television, but I think mostly in television. I’m not sure the studio system will really last much longer. Things are changing faster now than at any time in the history of Hollywood in terms of product and streaming and the huge number of new jobs that are being created because of what we’re shooting. People who do contact lenses, and people who do manicures, intimate scene coordinators, and sensitivity training, and then there’s actually film production, special effects … like, really magic happens on the set of Very Strange Things. I periodically exclaim, “What the hell is this? Where am I?” At the end of almost every scene, they create some kind of magical special effects in real time. So yeah, the situation changes a lot.
